Okay, I've just listened to the 71/2 Highly Successful Hapbits of Lifelong Learning. I have skipped around these lessons haphazardly but decided I would start at the beginning and be dilgent about following the order. ;->
We are instructed to "write down which habit among the 7 & 1/2 that is easiest for you and which is hardest." I think that the hardest one for me is the one they said was the most important which is "PLAY!" I forget to have fun when I'm tackling new technology. Learning new technology is the most common type of lifelong learning I have been faced with these last few years. Overcoming negative self talk interferes with having fun....I always learn more if I have to show someone else how to do something so I would say that Habit 7, teach/mentor others, is the easiest one for me. An example would be showing a co-worker how to work with the e-Vanced calendar.

Spurs Spirit @ Bazan
We have a beautiful glass display case at Bazan which allows us to create eye-catching displays. This one was the combined efforts of several staff members who have extensive Spurs memorabilia collections. Patrons enjoyed examining the various Spurs items which included a signed basketball, bobbleheads, pins, & framed photos. The Spurs organization is considered one of the best-run sports franchise in the US. I'm proud to be a Spurs fan; part of the good guys!

I don't have time!
I keep falling behind on this stuff...maybe after the semester ends I'll be able to catch up. I just tried to insert an image taken from Operation Anime website but it didn't transfer correctly...Oh well. I'll get to this sooner or later.

Not Quite a Librarian Yet
Howdy All!
I am THIS close to realizing my dream of becoming a librarian. I finish my last 2 classes in December then take my exit/thesis exam in Feb. and GRADUATE IN MAY! Yeah!! Many of my fellow classmates are already through the program and holding librarian position around San Antonio. I took the "leisurely" route with summer's off so I'm a little behind the curve.
I'm trying to play catch up with this "23 Things" deal so I better scoot on out of here!
Peace!
